Video: When your time is up.... monk and rider crushed under truck at level crossing in Suphanburi

Horrific CCTV footage from a level crossing in Suphanburi province in central Thailand showed the moment that a truck trailer laden with animal feed overturned crushing two Thai men yesterday.

The deceased were travelling on a motorcycle and sidecar. They were 64 year old Montha and Phra Manop, 56, a monk at the nearby temple of Wat Nong Wan Priang.

The pair were returning to the temple on Route 321 after the monk completed his alms round.

The driver of the truck that had Phitsanulok plates was Chainarong, 29, who was taken to hospital.

Thung Khok police and rescue services employed two cranes to lift the overturned truck.

The rescue services were tasked with the grisly job of removing the victims that suffered horrendous injuries.

Sanook reported that the truck had tried to avoid a collision after another truck in front braked suddenly. But the driver lost control resulting in the death of the two innocent victims.

The media said that this is an accident blackspot.

And as always, the driver of the damned truck is never at fault, it is clear that he was going too fast and without the safety distance!
In prison with this murderer!

i'm curious.

in the video, there's a big 'ol stop sign at the crossing.

are trucks or any other vehicles supposed to stop at crossings?

I wonder if the next train service would be the "Ghost Train". RIP both victims.
