A mother who claimed that a respected kindergarten teacher assaulted her child has now been attacked verbally herself and her family have been slammed as troublemakers.

Claims have even been made that the mother hits her own son and the family have been lying.

Sanook went to a kindergarten in the Huay Ngu area of Chainat in central Thailand where they were met with denials from the teacher at the center of the controversy and an outpouring of support from local officials and parents.

Earlier a 21 year old mother and her husband had gone to the media to say that their 4 year old son had come home with a swollen lip and cheek.

They claimed that their boy had told them that he had been hit by two teachers three times each because he had annoyed them by talking too much in class.

The mother said she had reported the matter to police but nobody wanted to investigate. She also went on to claim that the teacher concerned had been strutting about saying she was a "bigwig" who "wasn't afraid of anyone".

All this was completely refuted by the teacher at the center of the drama, Narisara or "Khru Khaek", an experienced kindergarten teacher aged 54 and her 34 year old helper.

Sanook found a happy class of little kids enjoying coloring pictures and modelling clay. They all said they love their teacher and come to school happily every day.

Khru Khaek was shocked by the allegations and said she had reported to her superiors after they were made by the family. She said she had been a kindergarten teacher in the area for 10 years and is respected by everyone and had never gone about boasting about being a "big" person.

She said that a doctor had diagnosed that the boy was suffering from gum disease hence the swollen mouth and cheeks.

The local authority said that no report was received by the police and that if there is evidence of malicious activity they will counter sue.

A group of supportive parents at the school claimed the family were troublemakers known all over the market as people who would complain about anything, they alleged.

One even claimed that the mother allegedly hit her own child.

Sounds more like the UK than Thailand, ferral parents bringing up troubled kids

Really! Nasty, bitter statement. To show one's lacking moral cumpus and self delusional promoting superiority. When was the last time you ever heard of a UK teacher beating up a child or cutting children's hair because THEY deemed it to long? My children now go to school in the UK and they love it, the teachers are far superior to Thailand and child behaviour is on a whole very good regardless of where they are from. A good shack is needed because family wealth or standing often equates to producing very bad children. Have you ever taught in a Hiso school in Thailand "I think not".

Yeah right

Three single mothers who started a childish 3am catfight after a night out drinking malibu and vodka are scolded by a magistrate for setting a 'bad example' for their children
