thaiclan
Just a heads up that the golfcart/buggy service is currently suspended at Suvarnabhumi whilst the Coronoavirus measures are in place. I arrived the other day having booked Elite and whilst the Lady in Gold was there as usual to greet me, alas her gold golf cart was nowhere to be seen and replaced with a porter to carry my luggage instead Not sure whether I could have gotten a piggy back ride from him...:-) There are multiple temperature cameras set up along the way to immigration and so all buggies and golf carts are suspended at this time.

HarrySeaman
TIT* In any well run airport they would have substituted wheelchairs for the buggies or golf carts to make sure those that need assistance getting through the airport were properly helped. It isn't clear if you needed assistance to get through the airport but if so they certainly didn't serve you very well. I hope the trip wasn't too arduous. *Just in case anyone don't know, TIT stands for "This Is Thailand".
Popular Post CygnusX1
My trip in the Golden Cart to have my Elite visa attached to my passport was one of the most traumatic events of my life. You see, as an Australian, about the worst thing you can be, short of being a “pedo guy”, is to be ”up yourself”, and sitting regally in a cart driven by an attractive lady, honking at humble travellers on foot who don’t get out of the way in time, is about as far up yourself as you can go. Still having the occasional flashback PTSD episode. Besides, I enjoy a brisk, long walk after being squashed into an aircraft seat for 9 hours. 2
