Popular Post webfact
Krabi: Thai man charged with attempted murder of Norwegian - but "drug taking tourists" take flak too Krabi provincial police and officers from Ao Nang descended on a house in the southern Thai province where they arrested 22 year old samlor driver Kiatsak Bunrabiab for the attempted murder of a Norwegian tourist earlier this month. His elder brother was also arrested. Both men resisted arrest but were talked round by relatives and persuaded to cooperate with the police, reported Channel 7. Kiatsak admitted that at 1.40 am on February 2nd he had picked up Ole-Kristian Krogh on Ao Nang beach and agreed to take him to his hotel for 200 baht. But the tourist wouldn't pay as it was such a short journey. An argument ensued. Kiatsak decided to go for the head of the tourist with a knife but the tourist fended off the blow suffering a defensive wound to his arm. His brother was arrested yesterday for drinking krathom tea, an illicit drug. Meanwhile the media reported that Ao Nang samlor drivers at the resort marched on the police station to discuss ways to avoid a repeat of the incident. They think that drivers should be tested for drugs and there should be more police patrols on the beach road. But they also blamed many incidents on tourists on the beach taking drugs. The tourists can't control themselves, said the drivers, and there has been a lot of trouble related to this. Popular Post WineOh
They will always find a way to blame the foreigner for whatever happens here. I'm sure as I type this there is some kind of underground committee going on behind closed doors that is working day and night to try to find a way to pin the spread of Coronavirus on foreign tourists.. Oh wait, can't blame them now cos they have all vanished.. Not too worry, they still have the Indians. ???? 3

I agree and it's all about the benjamins. Too bad too for there could be a positive side to this site but greed (in the purposeful encouragement of racism) has shaped it otherwise..

If you have attempted murder, and failed but you are Thai, then the news media prints this horse pucky! As for the victim, well who cares. Thai tourism is already on the skids, coronavirus only provides an good excuse for its death. 1
