A total incompetent can often get away with posing as someone who is capable, when the boat has alot of tailwind, and things are going very smoothly. I assume, with their degree of hubris, they just assumed that would be the case. But, in the event of an emergency, a nation needs calm, capable, and experienced people at the helm. The boat is absolutely rudderless at the moment. Prayuth has literally disappeared from view, and it appears he has no idea what to say or do at the moment. Incompetence can be a terrible thing. When the Brown and Smelly hits the whirling thing - duck, and let it hit somebody else, and hopefully it will stick. But, rather the desire to select without regard to merit, or experience, taking into account only cronyism, that is the real issue here.
