Thailand visa

Recommended Posts

We arrive in Thailand on the 11th November and leave on the 11th December so in my reckoning that’s 30 days dead so in theory we don’t need a visa...if for some reason our flight was delayed even for one day how strict are they...would they just fine you the THB500 per day?

Your dates are actually 31 days, as every day in country counts, including both arrival and departure dates. If you were to arrive on the 11th Nov, your entry stamp will give permission to remain until 10th Dec.

Whilst you may not get charged for overstay if it it just one day, the bigger issue is that the airline may not allow you to board in the first place without a visa as your return flight is outside of the 30 day visa free period.

Thank you...looks like we had better sort a visa then.
