The week that was in Thailand news: When it rains it pours! Thailand facing its own "Annus Horribilis"

RTP chief Chakthip "Big Peh" Chaijinda was filmed going in like Flint; both were stories that cheered the Thais a little in their hour of need. But that hour is now more like months and any claim of "heroes" is just clutching at straws and failing to hide the grim reality:

Wasn't this the same guy who paid 1,000 Baht for a doughnut during the siege? I hope any straw he might clutch at from the same shop is paper, not plastic.

Perfect ! Nice and quiet...

It's always quite down the soi in Ratchayothin - three year old and seven year old baying to be played with, excepted.

Time for swimming....

eloquently spoken !
missed the opportunity to connect to " virus annus " or " virus annulus " (forget my grammer already) that is easier to misspell and, moreover, sounds so much more natural than COVID-19 what sounds like a chemical concoction 😉
