BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand records one new case of coronavirus, bringing the total in the country to 35 since January, a senior health official said on Monday.

The new case is a 60-year old Chinese woman, whose family members earlier contracted the virus, Sukhum Kanchanapimai, the health ministry’s permanent secretary said in a news conference.

Fifteen people have recovered and return home.

Over 1,700 people in China have died from the virus but Thailand has not recorded any fatality so far.

With the news of the American on the ship in Cambodia having the newly named Corona virus.

I wonder where that person, or all the other people on the ship were at before they started the cruise?  Just a curious thought, now that the horse is gone from the barn, so to speak.

Geezer

Wakayama, another 4 confirmed cases.

9 people in Wakayama alone, exlcuding Tokyo.

Wow, forget about it Thailand!

Wakayama , just down the road from Osaka . Would like to know why there's a cluster  in that area. Many people commute to Osaka from there everyday .
