That's why the African drugs gangs are free to roam lower Sukhumvit in Bangkok and operate out of the same well known and obvious places every day. The police won't touch them because their higher ups are running these gangs. This guy would have to have an agreement with the Thai Mafia to operate with links with someone high in Authority. My guess is that whoever Mr Big is, had enough of this guy and wanted him out so arranged for the cops to arrest him.
