Drjay
I have used my multiple entry Non O visa based on marrige for almost 15 months next month - is it possible to get an extention of stay at the local immigration office with this? I just need a month or two as its so cold in Europe... I have been in Thailand for about 3 years - 2 years on tourist visas, so Im a bit scared to do a boarder run without a visa as the immigration is so strict now... Ideas??? Thanks in advance! Popular Post ubonjoe
You can apply for a one year extension of any of the 90 day permit to stay from the non-o visa based upon marriage. You can also apply for a 60 day extension of any of the 90 entries to visit your wife. 2
fishtank
60 Days would suit you.
BritTim
It seems the 60-day extension to visit your wife would be most appropriate. A border bounce for a visa exempt entry would also be possible. Do not be afraid of land crossings as long as you avoid a couple of problematic ones. No - The most you might get is 7 days in which to leave the country

Drjay
Thanks, so I'll go for the 60 days extention... Do I need to go back and do a 90 days report?

The 60 day extension application is considered as doing a 90 day report since it would be the first extension.
Drjay
What is written above is like half of the documents needed... The documents required is as follows: - TM 7 Form - STM 2 - You get these 2 at IO - The regular passport copys - Copy marrige certificate - Copy ID card from wife - Family photo - Copy household (taibaan) registration of wife - Notification residence (TM 30) Printed on paper - Rental contract of your house - copy household (taibaan) registration of your current adress - Copy ID card of landlord/owner - Copy household (taibaan) registration of your landlord/owner's adress Thats all, if your missing one of these papers - you will get refused to apply. This was at Koh Samui IO btw.
