As I already explained, Hannity promoted the Russian conspiracy theory that Hillary Clinton and company were responsible for the murder of Seth Rich. Hannity is either a gullible idiot or a shameless liar. Either way, he shouldn't he be advising the President, and the President should be smart enough to know this. 3

It doesnt. The bottom line of this topic, however, is apparently CNN fake news again. I guess thats the cultural imperialism you are referring to. 'fake news' is deliberate misinformation, a meme in which trump specialises thereby undermining institutions in their efforts to support democratic process. CNN has been reporting news and now reporting updated info from the intelligence agencies; the process does not equate to 'fake news'. 1

aj73
The story was leaked, as usual to the NY Times, then CNN ran with it. All the while Americans seem to be doing just fine... The political drama apparently intrigues people to the point of nirvana. And oh by the way the intel that was discussed was classified and the basis for leaking it was what exactly, targeting who exactly? Did they happen to mention that Bernie would actually be a preferred target, no of course not. But there you have it, the same Roman Circus via the MSM to the masses for their obvious inability to research things for themselves... Some of us know dogs chase the stick into the busy street not because they know what the stick is, but because they don't know the difference... Look Fido, it's over there! Believe nothing of what you hear, and only half of what you see. ???? 1

However actively seeking out news sources that confirm what you want to believe is not healthy skepticism. Rejecting all news that you don't like is willful ignorance. A less paranoid interpretation of events is that CNN reported what had been provided by a trusted source, then updated the story when additional information was available.
