Popular Post rooster59
Koh Samui: Attila the Hungarian caught stealing from coin-op laundry Image: Manager A Hungarian thief has been caught red handed using skeleton keys to steal coins from coin operated washing machines. Attila B., aged 32, is believed to be responsible for a string of thefts on Koh Samui. He told police that he had been on the holiday island for 5 months and didn't have a job. Sarita, 30, the owner of the King Kaew laundry in Mae Nam said she heard a loud noise coming from the area where she keeps her washing machines. She secretly observed the thief at work and called the police. Meanwhile, Piyapong, 33, attempted to hold onto the suspect who resisted and tried to escape. Fortunately the constabulary arrived in the nick of time and arrested Attila along with a black bag containing 270 ten baht coins, a bunch of skeleton keys and the motorcycle he used in commission of his crimes. Manager reported that the suspect's face paled when he realised the game was up. It looks like there were many other crimes. The media said that there have been a spate of crimes involving a person using skeleton keys to break into coin operated washing machines and coin-op gasoline stands on the island recently. Traders were not sure whether it was a Thai or a foreigner but they were convinced an experienced thief was on the loose. Chief Pol Col Pongkhajorn Sukkasang asked for other victims to come forward. Attila said he had been on Samui for five months and had no job but otherwise remained tight lipped. He was charged with theft at night using a conveyance and detained by the Koh Samui police. briansbiology
The police should not be nickle and diming this guy. Once the penny dropped he knew not to bet his bottom dollar on escape. his bail will be a pretty penny and he wont be in mint condition when his time is served.
