Canada concerned over ‘disenfranchising’ of six million Future Forward voters

Thailand had made significant progress in restoring democracy through holding a general election in March 2019

Anyone notice the veiled message in that statement? 'significant progress' as opposed to 'restoring democracy'.

However, they made a mistake in the statement - use of the word 'restoring' suggests that Thailand previously had a democracy. To be a democracy, a country has to do a hell of a lot more than just hold elections. Thailand has never had a full democracy.

But hats off to Canada for being prepared to do what so many other countries won't do - criticise.

The US Embassy in Bangkok, the European Union in Brussels and other international human rights groups had also raised questions about the Thai Constitutional Court’s verdict to disband the Future Forward Party and bar its executives from politics for 10 years.

Strange wording. The US Embassy in Bangkok and the European Union in Brussels are not human rights groups. Perhaps great if they were.

Everybody else, excluding Pinocchio and the clockwork Rolex lover, seem to understand what's going on.

Now it's really time to go and let the people of Thailand decide what they want.

They should be more concerned about alienating millions of Alberta's citizens with their unrealistic policies and mixed messages. Who's going to support all those 'protesters' who came out of their parents basements to shutdown the country when they finally grow up and find out only minimum wage jobs remain? Clean the mess in your own country prior to pointing fingers at other countries..

Doesn´t matter how many countries that are raising concern about anything, when the country concerned are not concerned.

Right. Who's concerned about concerns concerning Canada? Thailand certainly isn't nor does it have any reason to be

I think that is what all the "concerned" parties will do, they all have enough problems of their own to contend with, historically no action has been taken against Thailand, despite multiple coups, though in previous events they did give the power back to the people - albeit in a very contentious way!

The concerned parties won't do anything, of course. They just like preaching and lecturing others, to make them feel good about themselves.

Canada should focus on all the problems it has back home and keep their noses out of other people's or countries' business.

What problems does Canada have? Civil war?
