I'm hoping to go out saying something nice or inspiring that my wife and kids can remember proudly, but I expect it will be something like "Nurse, I think I shat my pants!"

I answered NO because:
 

While I quit smoking many years ago and gave up drinking in 2016 I think I have filled the void left by those two vices with Thaivisa. I often feel after spending some time on here ,enjoying the quarrelling and bickering that threads usually decline into ,  that I could have spent my time in a more productive manner .

I chose yes. Because the large majority of time I am on TV means I am also actively trading. So I am basically getting paid to be here.

 

It's also my go to site for picking up hot Thai chicks. All that new found money has to go somewhere after all. 

 

So anyway you slice it you can't go wrong with a dark dingy room, a 15 year old Dell desktop and TV on the display and a web cam always at the ready.

No I just make a percentage wise gain that I gain more than I lose. If that weren't the case I would have to find a real job as I don't live off of government entitlement programs.

The grief one gets simply because of how they make a living... I trade I don't gamble. Both involve risk but the similarities end there. Although it could be argued that poker takes similar skills and isn't gambling.

I get that some people come to TVF to explain things, relay experiences, teach, answer questions, ask questions or alert people to something.

 

I don't get even a little bit why people come here to make one line statements about how <deleted>, corrupt or fake  this or that thing in Thailand is.

 

The majority of posters seem to be in the second group, it's really odd. The only thing that's even more odd is the poster who reads posts, clicks a sad or laughing emoticon based on who wrote the post rather than what it says, and then repeats that process thousands of times, that's beyond bizarre and must be a sign of poor mental health, surely.
