Unprecedented Ruling: Israeli Imprisoned In Thailand For 50 Years To Be Transferred To Israel

Israel’s Supreme Court ruled last week that Yigal Machlouf of Beer Sheva, an Israeli imprisoned in Thailand for drug dealing (Ecstacy pills) will be transferred to Israel and continue his sentence there, Chareidim10 reported.

Covid-19: Screening efforts stepped up at Chiang Mai departures, even massage ladies checked!

Thai media reported that screening for coronavirus Covid-19 had been stepped up at Chiang Mai airport after the Thai authorities ordered the northern province to be one of eight provinces to take greater precautions.

Bangkok 7th worst city in world for air quality: Air Visual

Bangkok’s air quality ranking took another hit, with the city being named the seventh worst in the world for air quality, while Chiang Mai was placed tenth, according to the application Air Visual today (February 25) as of 12.50pm.

Suffering vendors make plea to MBK on rent

Some 100 MBK Centre vendors in Bangkok’s Phayathai district gathered in front of the shopping complex on Monday (February 24) and later participated in a peaceful walk in and around the centre, demanding that operator MBK Public Co Ltd reduce or exempt them from paying rent as they are suffering from decreasing sales amid a lack of foreign tourists worried over the spreading coronavirus.

PHUKET: An attempt by Cherng Talay Tambon Administration (OrBorTor) Chief MaAnn Samran to refloat a project to build a sea wall on Surin Beach to prevent beach erosion was sunk by strong opposition among local residents at a public meeting yesterday (Feb 24).

Suspects in abduction of senior judge’s brother taken for re-enactment
