BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's national carrier announced salary cuts for management and other airlines lowered targets as travel slowed from the coronavirus outbreak and the number of cases in the country reached 40 on Wednesday.

Navy launch search for missing crewman after Phuket fishing boat sinks

Authorities ponder pleas from struggling airlines

Virus team descends on Bangkok school with contagion connection

Crew on same flight as infected passenger told to take 14 days off

Thai AirAsia X  has ordered the cabin crew arriving back in Thailand on the same flight (XJ621, Sapporo - Bangkok) as an elderly man, who was later tested for Covid-19 infection, to take 14 days off and notify the Department of Disease Control for surveillance and health eximination.

Former Future Forward MP tells police she has been threatened

Former Future Forward MP Benja Saengchan lodged a complaint with Bang Po police today, claiming that she was intimidated after she leaked a telephone conversation about cash rewards, of as much as 23 million baht, being offered for the defection of each of the MPs from the now dissolved party.

MPs scramble for face masks when told a colleague just returned from Japan
