‘Linkage centre’ aims to detect virus concealment

Recommended Posts

This seems to have been triggered by the 63 year-old Thai who denied he had returned from a high-risk country - Japan.

IIRC the original report said that he managed to evade immigration checks at the time. I'd have to assume that meant the apparent hit-and-miss body temperature checks rather than passport control.

He said ministry and bureau officials had accompanied a medical team in examining 1,765 Chinese tourists from Wuhan and Guangzhou who don’t wish to return home yet and confirmed they were all clear of virus infection.

Intersting that they can clear 1,765 Chinese tourists - are they all in the same place? - quickly, but they can't clear the 712 (as of 26 Feb report) "under treatment".

"Linkage Centre"? Really?

Incompetence is exposed during a crisis.

How about not charging around 5,000 baht to get tested, that would be a start

Apparently thats just for the Blood test.

Extra added for a MRI scan of the Lungs

Rince repeat.

The guys from Immigration didn't want to be left on the virus side(show) so here they are.

We are waiting for just of one common sense and bold decision (i mean linked to Immigration) : CLOSE THE BORDERS ! All of them.

Everything else is just hot air and fuzzy bubbles.

Yes -- Italian citizen working in Nigeria recently returned from Milan 3 days ago.

"The patient is clinically stable, with no serious symptoms, and is being managed at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos."

there is a rumour that a staff member of the international school just around the corner from our house attended the Bangkok campus where this man was and returned here so they have closed down the international school as a precaution. No idea if this are factual but makes you wonder if we are being given real reports from the govt  on covid 19 and the numbers involved if it is

Rumors are not helpful here. If it's just around the corner, stop by & ask then post verified information.  There is a big problem in Thailand of unsubstantiated rumors flying all over the place.
