Not only is the VDO ad window blocking a good chunk of the screen, but it has crashed into a black "X" instead of a video. On every single page load. In Google Chrome, not Firefox, because of the other current stupid problem, the screen contents jumping up and down, and just about when your eyes get hold of the point where you were reading before the jump, the screen jumps away again. And then on top of it all, Google is now putting its ads across the bottom of the screen, ref the naked boxer from Krabi, and you have to dismiss the VDO before you can access the go-away box for the Google ad. ON EVERY SINGLE PAGE LOAD!!!!!!!!!! This is beyond stupid. For weeks now, since the VDO started then went away then came back again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dave s Posted February 29, 2020 Share Posted February 29, 2020 And there's nothing wrong with the image rendering in Google Chrome, because it may start out showing the VDO video, but it always quickly crashes, which didn't happen until today. Some people say no ads some say lots of ads. I logged in via the USA on Thursday and tvf was unbelievable with ads. A banner ad right across the bottom and top of the screen, the VDO ad bottom right and adverts between the threads. The only difference was most ads had a cancel button. On Friday I logged on via Bulgaria, it was like using a text only browser. No ads, no graphics, pages open instantaneously. PS the page is jumping 2 inches every 30 seconds. Is that because I am using a Linux OS, or blockers such as Privacy Badger and uBlock? Occasionally, I'll get asked to disable the blockers. I understand that it is NOT ThaiVISA itself, but members that are doing this <deleted> with KETO and all other idiot TV-shows...... If they are pm,s you should report them using the report function on the pm so we can deal with the sender as spamming in that manner is against forum rules. Thanks glegolo I get notifications but not via emails. I think you should spend some time reading your settings, there are loads of things to want or block. If I can do it, anyone can..... Been using it for a year or so and I agree it's great! The only thing is the search line doesn't have auto fill when you start typing in a search term you have used before. Now if support thinks we users can solve the problems, well, maybe they should watch Bar Rescue.
