I noticed the same in Pattaya. I suppose they burn in the night to avoid detection. 2

The Educational Hub was a flop and so was the Medical Hub and all others. Congratulations to the World's Dirtiest City. The Hub of dirty roads. Yes; and according to the Xenophobe Anutin it's also full of 'Dirty Farang' !

But even they can't get anyone to follow the laws. Who can, then? Possibly a democratically elected and represented government. The military government has no legitimacy in many eyes. In short a govt needs to earn the respect of its citizens and this isn't happening in Thailand therefore they are not playing along.
Popular Post Bassosa 799
It's not from abroad......don't believe the lies. Just recently we were near Samoeng, in the hills, air quality was reasonable but on Saturday morning local farmers set the hillsides alight. The fire came so near we could hear it. Since then air quality has been atrocious. 100% a local Thai problem, please don't believe the lies. 3 2

cmsally 6,026
More fires this year in the hills west of Hang Dong. Last year that area didn't seem to have such a problem. Fires in Chiang Dao, Phrao , Lampang and just about everywhere else. Seems like this year is a free for all. It is on the bottom of the priority list for govt if it even made the list at all. 2

Drying your laundry outdoors results in a strong smell of smoke from it. We badly need some rain to get rid of the worst. U don't need rain. U need a change of attitude among farmers etc. 1
