New Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R

Smashing this to 18000 rpm or whatever the limiter is set to, from first to 4th while doing legal speeds, will be akin to smashing Noi and 4 of her inline friends at the same time.

It is slow though.

155kph when maxed out in 5th.

180kph in 6th.

Like many new bikes it may well be 10% optimistic too.

Which is pretty ridiculous for a 280000 baht race style bike.

Hopefully it will be bumped up to 400cc in the future, like the old Ninja 250 was.

I think this bike is special for what it is. A very high-rev inline-4. How many bikes like that exist in today's world?

It has 250cc so let's be realistic what we should expect from a 250cc bike.

It's easy to buy a cheaper bike with more power. The question is if that other bike will be more fun.

Well to be fair I think there's a reason for this. They don't appeal to the masses and are more of a second bike.

I do wish Honda would bring an updated Super Four though.

100 mph is more than fast enough for me on Thailand's roads. How often would you want to go quicker?

I agree.

As far as I know the Yamaha R1 reaches 100mph in the 1st gear. It's a great bike.

But what is more fun when we are limited to public roads? Riding a 250cc to it's limits or a 1000cc at 20% of it's potential?

Pick up a Honda CB650F 2015/16 for 150k baht, maybe paint it Ninja green, and then dream about spending the other 100k baht for some better fun other than this little 250 toy could give you ....hmmm, let me see... ! lol  😁

Why are 'we' limited to public roads?
