WHAT?

They are both the same, really?

Socialism CONVINCES people and Communism FORCES people....

So...apart from you, having no clue what either one is and that neither Nort Korea, nor the USSR (or others) EVER practized Communism more than calling their facist state by that name: there is no difference, if people are CONVINCED about or FORCED INTO a polital system?

Man...seriously...

It's a rather convenient way to excuse the death toll and overall failure of socialism or communism (the terms appear on slogans interchangeably by states identifying with either term) to say that communism only exists in the theoretical. Therefore, all failed attempts at this madness can be explained away for their totalitarianism only. But it is the idea itself that leads to totalitarianism!

An idea that at its heart takes away from one man, by force, to give to another. The wielder of that force are those who have decided to make it so. To remake a world in a way they decide. Force is always their tool!

The vast majority of democrats well understand that a second term of 45 is the end of American democracy

You do have a flair for drama! Trump will cruise to victory, Biden is doomed by his international money grubbing, which will be a slow drip of ugly obviousness!

Thanks man, I've been searching the internet for months trying to find the answer to that often asked and ever puzzling question that often gets tossed out by the amazing intellectuals on the left. If only I had the wisdom to search wikipedia.

Thankyou. I've got them written down and ready to use should someone dare question my knowledge of socialism or communism the next time I accuse some old half wit socialist of being a Trotskyite!

You are welcome.

Maybe you can used your wisdom to help those other 60 million Americans who still have difficulties understanding these terms.

Or maybe they just can't read. Or maybe they can read the words but don't understand what it's about.

I know it's a huge task to do that but maybe you can help them. Thanks.

I wonder when Americans will realize that social programs would be great for all those people who will now lose their jobs, have no money, insurance, etc.

Most Americans already know that free stuff is great for people that don’t work.

Sorry man, they are all busy with far more important things then trying to plunge the world into a dystopian darkness hinging on oft repeated failed ideas. Talk to the Chinese about it, or North Korea. They are in to this sort of thing. They claim it quite successful.

Yeah, but Black women always vote in large numbers for the Democrat candidate so that's already baked in. There aren't more Black women to get after you've got all the Black women.

It's all about turnout....Hillary easily won that segment but black voters did not turn out in the numbers she needed.

Before I dive beyond wikipedia, please understand you may be forced to face facts that may conflict with whatever notions you have of Norway being a Socialist state. I don't want to break your heart.

It isn't very nice to call average working Americans stupid. Are you American? Consider yourself an elitist above the mass? Or from a far superior Country on this planet yet obsessed with American politics. Which is it? Where you from?

Well now it's looking like Bernie will be leaving soon. Expect him to get a plum speaking slot at the convention. If there is a convention. Of course a convention can be run without actually meeting.

Campaign signals Sanders may be open to exit

Bernie Sanders signaled Wednesday that he was open to ending his presidential run after another round of landslide losses to Joe Biden, and new signs emerged of communication between the two camps as some Democrats hoped for a swift end to a bruising primary.

Sanders campaign officials said the senator from Vermont planned to leave Washington and return home, where he and his wife, Jane, would talk to supporters and determine the future of his presidential run. The campaign also suspended its Facebook ads and, uncharacteristically, made no request for donations in an email to backers updating them on the situation.

Are there really people out there who believe that kind of <deleted>? Really?

A bit of an obvious deflection which is so much so as to make me laugh! Let me get this straight:  Your rebuttal to the argument presented is to quote a half sentence from a non-related article having no bearing on your own position. OK, no further comment needed. Goodnight!

Do you only vilify socialism and communism with this description of change, or do you also include fascism and democracy, as those too, have been enabled thru force.... most change is, right... including the system you support, or have you forgotten about the revolution? Lol... any of them.

Im supposing not, or your point would be self defeating.

You have to live in America to like Trump.

Trump isn't Hitler, not at all.

He is very common sense guy.

Never a bernie fan but He would have won it if Warren had dropped out before super tuesday...Funny how all of bidens competition dropped out but warren (bernies competition) waited till after super tuesday to drop out. DNC rigged the candidate again and they know all bernie supporters will still vote for their candidate anyways instead of a republican...corruption at it's finest. Bernie supporters should all vote republican and then maybe the DNC will let the will of the people be heard instead of always manipulating the elections to get who they want in!

No, you're not a Bernie fan, you are a Trump or Russia fan.  The crowded field of Democrats thinned out much like the crowded field of Republicans thinned out in 2016.  Yet you make the unfounded claim of DNC rigging.

Are you talking about Bernie Sanders or his cousin Bruce?

You clearly know nothing about Bernie Sanders.  He's been in politics since 1981, and has a long record of accomplishing nothing of significance.

Trump is a demagogue. It may make you feel better to call those who voted for him ignorant, but it does nothing to help understand the situation. Trump voters aren't ignorant. They are being influenced by a very powerful personality who has chosen a highly sensitive subject on which to divide the American public. If you want to beat him, you have to understand the emotion he has tapped into. Biden is simply incapable of doing this.  He represents exactly what those supporting Trump are rebelling against.

Once a demagogue emerges, you have to do something drastic. Wars and coups are not unusual. Ask the ancient Greeks who coined the word and basically concluded democracy was an ineffective form of government when confronted with an individual like this. It is possible to remove the demagogue democratically, but only by addressing the underlying issues the demagogue is exploiting.

Biden is the kind of politician that caused people to vote for Trump in the first place. It is sad the Democrats learned nothing from Hillary.

People who allow a "powerful personality" to cause them to ignore obvious facts are willfully ignorant.

The ancient Greeks had a flawed, unstable form of democracy.  If approximately 53% to 54% of voters (depending on the electoral college distribution) vote for Biden, which is quite possible, Trump will be removed.

Yeah Trump put a spell on me!

But..let me give you the truth. The policies of the democrat party, and their hideous twins the neoconservatives hiding in the GOP frighten me.

I would vote for a mannequin with a name tag over any Democrat candidate, provided his VP was a real paleoconservative, espousing anti globalist, nationalist isolationist leaning policies!

The personality called Donald Trump just happens to be pushing a basket of policies that I support, that doesn't scare the living daylights out of me!

A nationalist isolationist?  You want a President like Kim Jong Un?

You are right it must have just been a miracle that all these candidates who were doing much better then biden all decided to drop out right before super tuesday...Yet warren stayed in till after super tuesday to take the votes away from sanders....WOW such a coincidence right like all the stars aligned for Joe Biden at the right time.....Definitely no rigging there I am sure just joe biden with the best luck in the world!!!

Good Morning

before I read any article I look at the source/publisher. In this case I did not know the publisher. So I opened just a random story. After a few sentences it was obvious that that publisher is not interested in publishing the truth. So what is the point in reading anything in such a publication? It's like watching fox news and expecting accurate info. 555

Who are these candidates who were doing much better than Biden when they dropped out?  Pete Buttigieg was in third place, behind Biden and Sanders, when he dropped out.  Amy Klobuchar and the others were even further behind.

Warren stayed in to see how she would do, and dropped out after she did poorly.

You clearly want to believe there was a conspiracy, or get others to believe there was one.  There wasn't.

My understanding of the 20th century is that attempts at socialsm/communism went very very bad.

Fascism, another attempt from the left, that likwise always morphed into totalitarianism.

As for Democracy, this is what is precisely extinguished by these systems, although if you read the writings of the proponents of these systems they always claim to be the best examples of Democracy.

I suppose ultimately your pitch is that all the other attempts were failures because they just didn't do it right, and we should give it ago once again. No thank you. I have nothing but contempt by the way for those who owe everything in their lives to capitalism, but are so unsatified with their own results, compared to others, that they decide that taking from the most successful will make everyone's life better. Not gonna happen.

Throw all the insults in the world, your revolution gets smacked down everytime!
