I'm sure, through social media, we are all aware of those business owners who choose to ignore the directive.   I personally put them in the same category of those who strip supdrmarket shelves and deprive others.

He didn't ignore anything was visited by local authorities and told to space the tables out further and not to serve alcohol, which he did. Revisited today and told to close on the 26th, which he will.

Don't know any true restaurants that were initially ordered to close, just stop serving alcohol. New orders today.

A constantly moving situation Danny, and one I'm sure you will agree has been open to interpretation by the local authorities.   However, from social media postings from those affected, both Phuket and Pattaya appear to be consistent in their response.

Fascinating but this thread is about PHUKET.

Maybe you could ask on  a PATTAYA forum

..... and the relevance to THIS thread is what exactly?

And the relevance of your post is exactly? Might it be to tell people what they can do and not do? Even as you have a police car as profile picture, I can still not see the word moderator in your description.

A meeting of Phuket’s Contagious Diseases Committee has approved a proposal to close all high-risk places in the province from today to March 31 in order to prevent people contracting Covid-19.

The places the province is closing are malls, pharmacies, shops, entertainment venues, spas, restaurants, amulet markets, golf clubs, pet-service shops, beauty clinics, barber and tattoo shops, and swimming pools of both government and private organisations.

Those who violate the order under the Contagious Disease Act 2015 will be imprisoned for up to one year or fined up to Bt100,000, or both.

The Nation stuffed up, The order excludes supermarkets, pharmacies, and stores which sell miscellaneous goods necessary for daily use.
