china knew of the virus in sept then end of jan knowingly and willingly exported it to the world ,even pressured some countries to keep open borders for tourists ,this was chnese new year,its not unreasonable for effected parties to be angry about this,it wasnt an accident

It's not a one way street, US played silly games that prevented a unified G7 communique which only increases international tensions, rather than a preferred approach of deescalating.

Did the US sign up for the International Law you reference. I ask the question as generally the US does not sign up to this type of agreements e.g. ICC. Please stop the hateful personal attacks, totally unnecessary. If you fail to understand, why the US Secretary of State's non compliance with other Western governments wish for a mutually agreed G7 communique,, can't help you. However, as a hint very similar to trump's wasteful dummy spits after other international conferences.

That is one option, and could be the case, but not the source most commonly given. Even your link says so "Humphries concedes that a final answer to the mystery of the Spanish flu's origins is still a ways off.".

And if they wont pay - seize all Chinese assets in the country - sell those to make the payment wanted.

There is no Chinese money spent by any Chinese person/company buying assets overseas, that is not approved/directed by the Chinese Govt.

Are you serious? There are nil foreign factories in China - they are all owned by China. You cannot buy any property in China as there is no private ownership of land in China. One can only obtain rights to use land.  They are not stupid - we are, to allow them to buy our property - land included.  Get educated about something before you start criticisng what you dont have a clue about.

I've noticed a few absurd comments about how the WHO is working with the Chinese government on the crazy idea of covering up this virus. It's absurd. First of all, people make the accusation that the Chinese government is covering this up, it is telling lies. The WHO have praised China for it's handling of the virus. And so, this means that the China haters are now in the ridiculous position of claiming that the WHO have been bribed by the Chinese government.

Right now, in the USA, Trump is refusing to take strong action by doing a quarantine on New York. Trump is not doing a quarantine because he knows it will destroy any popularity he has in New York. But the quarantine should be done, it will save lives and hold the virus back. If the virus had of started in America, Trump would not have carried out a massive lockdown early on. The virus started in China, Xi Jinping did actually order a massive lockdown. That's why the WHO have praised China for it's efforts to restrict the virus.
