PHUKET:-- Phuket Governor Phakaphong Tavipatana announced today (Mar 27) that seven new COVID-19 cases in Phuket have been confirmed, bringing the total number of officially recognised cases of people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus in Phuket to 41.

Horses die from African horse disease

Following the deaths of 30 horses in the Northeast region on Thursday (March 26), the Department of Livestock Development conducted an investigation and learned that the horses had had fevers, snots and breathing difficulties, but no signs of Covid-19 infection.

Talaadthai rolls out pumpuang full of supplies

PATTAYA, Thailand (Reuters) - The coronavirus pandemic has turned a pub in Thailand’s famed seaside resort town of Pattaya into a community kitchen serving free food for workers who have lost jobs when the global tourism industry ground to a halt.

Rihanna donates Personal Protective Equipment to New York to aid in coronavirus fight

Rihanna, 32, has donated Personal Protective Equipment supplies to the state of New York where the large number of COVID-19 cases is putting enormous pressure on hospitals and medical professionals

 

She already announced she was donating $5 million through her Clare Lionel Foundation to nonprofit organizations working to support 'frontline health workers and marginalized communities' during the coronavirus pandemic.
