Sangsom does the same for me at much less expense.

Well thats good for the virus. A pickled body is not good for viral replication.

Or indeed any replication.

I think I will build a scarecrow

You're not doomed, but you do have to ease up on the dishwashers.

Speaking of which, do any of your dishwashers do this for you?

I hope this whole situation points out the greatness of the old Boy Scouts Motto "Be Prepared".  Statistically speaking it is better to be fit, not obese, not smoke, not eat MacDonald's every day, etc.  Mild exercise, light weigh training, all are more likely to make your later years better.

So many elderly people are just out of luck being old, a bit weak, etc.  Sad but that is how humans evolved.  Smoking never helps a flue, or a lung condition.  Being HIV positive is probably not helpful as that has always shown people to be more susceptible to pneumonia and other diseases.

158,000 people in the USA will die from lung cancer each year, and 80% of them were svoluntary smokers.  So many similar bad habits are out there.

Straighten up folks.  Remember the old saying  "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"?  Compassion and empathy and sympathy are nice, but can not help when things go bad

I shaved 20 mins off my regular walk time (4kms inc 4 modest hills) simply by not starting until 1730hrs when the setting sun is low enough for me (Cat Funt in this age bracket) to actually enjoy doing it ????
