Which Diesel Fuel

Recommended Posts

Why are the fuel filters having to be changed every 2K , 4K then every 10K. What problems is this Bio fuel causing . I would feel safer using diesel with the lowest percentage of "bio" , and petrol with the lowest percentage of ethanol in them.

Well, probably by year's end--if not sooner--B10 will be the lowest percentage of bio available and the B10 designation will probably disappear as the govt makes it the baseline diesel fuel.....if will just be called diesel then.  Same thing happened years back when they came out with B3, then B5 and then B7.....these all turned into just standard diesel.  Current standard diesel fuel in Thailand is really B7.

Regarding your 2K, 4K, and 10K question, can't answer that as it seems to apply only to certain Isuzu truck models of N, F, and G but other Isuzu truck models have much less strict requirements of just initially change and then only when/if the fuel filter warning light comes on.
