tso310 Posted March 31, 2020 Author Share Posted March 31, 2020 What I do not understand is why they are using A340-300s and not B747s or even A380s. Where German nationals that need repatriating from might be significant. I just had a look at Phuket and I see a Condor flight to Frankfurt left on Tuesday and there is another on Thursday. It looks like they are going on to Bali after after arriving from Frankfurt. Probably using Phuket for refuelling and crew changes.
