Airlines still offering flights from Thailand to the UK as of 1 April

???? As of 1 April, the following airlines still offer flights from Thailand to the UK. As the situation changes very rapidly, please confirm the status of your flight with the airline.

 

Although most of the flights are fully booked, there is a chance for passengers to stand by at the airport as seats are usually available due to no shows. Please notify the check-in staff at least 2 hours before the counter closes so that you have sufficient time to get the tickets issued.

 

????Airlines with direct flights to the UK:

 

✈️ Thai Airways

All flights form Bangkok (BKK) to Heathrow (LHR) suspended.

BR67 Bangkok (BKK) to Heathrow (LHR) departs at 1230hrs.

16 business class and 10 economy class seats available on this flight.

Stand by is possible (previously approx. 20 on each flight).

No flight will operate on 2 April (Thursday). Next flight 3 April (Friday) and 5 April (Sunday).

✈️Cathay Pacific (new route)

CX708 departs tonight from Bangkok (BKK) to Hong Kong (HKK) at 1730hrs.

Connection to Heathrow (LHR) available with a 2 hour transit onto BA10 departing at 2345hrs.

Seats are available at present.

✈️ Lufthansa

LH773 Bangkok (BKK) to Frankfurt (FRA) departs on 2 April at 2300hrs arriving local time at 0600hrs.

Onward connection from Frankfurt (FRA) to Heathrow (LHR) is Lufthansa flight LH900 departing at 0800hrs.

Other transit destinations in the UK are available too from Frankfurt (FRA).

 

From 1 April, operates 3 flights per week; Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Fully booked on the system for this week, however advised to standby at counter G22. No need to book online in advance but you should turn up at the airport at least 2 hours before departure and inform the handling agent.

Flights will be operated until further notice.

✈️ Thai Airways

TG920 Bangkok (BKK) to Frankfurt (FRA) departs at 2345hrs tonight, arriving at 0615hrs local time.

Again there are many transit connection possibilities to the UK from Frankfurt (FRA) as above.

✈️ SWISS

LX181 Bangkok (BKK) to Zurich (ZRH) does not operate today.

Next flight 1245hrs Thursday arriving in Zurich at 1935hrs.Transit connection (overnight transit) with British Airways flight BA713 leaving at 1325hrs next day is available. Onward connections available to Manchester.

Fully booked but very good chance for standby passengers. Contact counter G24.

✈️ Korean Air

KE652 BKK-ICH departs BKK daily at 2330hrs arriving at ICN 0655hrs+1.10 seats available today.

There will be no connecting flight to Heathrow (LHR) from Incheon (ICH) on 2 April. The KE907 will not carry passengers and instead operate as a cargo flight. From 13-27 Apr, this flight will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.

✈️ Qatar Airways

QR837 departed BKK to DOH on time at 0210hrs. QR831 BKK-DOH also departed at 0905hrs on time.

Next available flight BKK-DOH today is QR981 departing at 1940hrs followed by the QR833 departing at 2110hrs.

Today there are 4 flights per day departing from Bangkok to Doha. From Doha, there are 1-2 flights per day to Heathrow (LHR), Manchester (MAN), Birmingham (BHX), Edinburgh (EDI) and Cardiff (CWL).

All flights today have availability in all classes.

 

Tomorrow 3 flights, with limited availability: QR837 at 0210hrs, QR831 at 0905hrs and QR833 at 2110hrs.

✈️ KLM

KL876 from Bangkok (BKK) to Amsterdam (AMS) is scheduled to leave on Saturday 4 April at 2230hrs. 6 seats available in economy. Standby is possible.

From 1 April, there will be 2 flights a week, Mondays and Saturdays only.

For onward transfer in Amsterdam (AMS) to the UK, there are a lot of flights with KLM to larger airports and KLM Cityhopper to regional airports.

✈️Ethiopian Airlines

Until the end of April 2020 3 flights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Next flight is ET609 departing Bangkok (BKK) on 2 April at 0120hrs, arrives Addis Ababa (ADD) at 6.20 with 18 hours waiting for next flight (ET700) to London. The airline is providing an accommodation voucher during waiting for connecting flight. Fully booked on the system but good chance for standby passengers.
