You will need the Chanote number of the plot...usually a small payment is required. Of course they will ask why so have a valid reason..you wish to purchase etc.

No payment needed and no one ever asked me why I wanted to see it

yes its public information, a tip is always welcomed or they may not let you see it depending on the land department

No payment no tip - done it in different offices with no problems

Surely if you have a copy already, you wouldn't be asking for one?

Yes you would - If you plan to buy the property you would like to see it's a freehold, not mortgaged or have any other claiming on it such as a court case pending. Also, as there are many fake chanots floating around, seeing the original at the LD is the only way to know it's real.

How can I find out about my neighbour? I have a solar farm operator next to my wife's property and would love to meet the guy. Regretfully nobody is ever there and the solar cells are no longer that talkative.

Any clue how to get hold of the owners without having their land title deed details or copy?
