Popular Post steven100
As I mentioned earlier in the week, it certainly sounds like Khun Prayut Chan O Cha means business when it comes to the seriousness of stopping the spread of the COVID-19 virus. He is obviously very concerned about the effects this will have on Thailands economy and as such has heightened the restrictions up another notch. Good job Khun Prayuth Chan O Cha. 2 9 4

Not me. I start when it gets dark is my preferred time and then go to bed in the after 12am hours. Today is my day off of drinking as had a run on it last night. But anyway this curfew does not phase me one bit as drinking at home and no need to go out.

Grumpy John
This will screw up the schedule of trucking companies. There maybe delays in getting more toilet paper in to the shops. 1

I listened to a guy on TV yesterday about incorrect numbers (not only in Thailand.) One thing he said, a slight positive ... with the number of death people being the same. And a much higher infection rate, that would put the death rate vs infection rate much lower as it is today. Don't know, maybe some truth in it ... not sure how much this matters. 1

Popular Post Jingthing
It's already scary and creepy to go out after 10 p.m. where I live. I did the other night and I felt like a sitting duck for crims, snakes, fleeing frogs, wild dogs, and overly inquisitive police officers. So I've already curfewed myself! Also if it was actually true that the actual cases here are still low (sadly I don't see how anyone with basic common sense could believe that) severe measures at an "early stage" would be even better news! The more severe the measures, as EARLY as possible give the best odds of avoiding even the beginning of exponential infection rates. But I think exponential infection had already begun here. Agreed. Sadly some still believe the numbers, that’s their prerogative. Edited April 2, 2020 by Kadilo 3 1

longevity
I sometimes have to do a beer-run after 10pm. Ironically, that's always seemed safer to me as there's fewer ppl about. Now I'll have to go out earlier, when there's lots of other folk around, to stock up. 1
soi3eddie
6:30pm to 6:30am curfew would be more realistic. Or better still, impose house 24/7 house curfew with very few exceptions as in the UK (key workers with ID etc.). Here in Hua Hin it's surprising to see so many locals out and about in the areas such as Chom Sim, Bon Kai, Hin Lek Fai etc. but taking a drive by The Hilton this afternoon it was a ghost town.

Would it be better to wait until they have more, or are you insinuating something else? You know, You might be right, but maybe they also know they can´t test all and are aware of that it´s in reality more cases out there. Maybe look at it as a positive thing instead, but I bet that never crossed your mind. 25 minutes ago, NCC1701A said: should i go buy some more stuff?
