Does that mean farangs don't have to go to immigration?

Or, more likely, we will have to go out to get the special documents to say we need to take other documents to immigration.  Might have to go to immigration first to get fill in forms to get permission to go to the place to get the documents that will be needed so we can take our visa documents back to immigration lol.

Oh, forgot to add, as farangs we may have to pay a charge for the forms too.

Maybe our passports with the extensions or visa's inside of them will be the special pass to get us onto the road and only into immigration where we can stand with thousands of others like sheeple......This has all the trappings of "One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest", where is my ax, and Honey I'm Home.....

How does a 24 hour curfew work? How are people supposed to get food and other essential items?

Serious question

It's a misnomer like the 'lockdowns'

There will be a 2 hour or so break for shopping etc

The people will be Revolting,

There already revolting, no need to ruB it in!  ????  Ps: Before I  was distracted by ChipButty I  just wanted to point out the government are rolling out food trucks to supply people with food...and they are looking for more people with suitable vehicles.  They already know they will be having a lock down so they are putting in place the means to feed the people and stop rioting using the army together with the police....who maybe stationed at the local nick and reluctant to shot granny because she is scrounging for food.

Thousands now out of work. Most will have little money.

The government thinks that they will be able to enforce a 24 hour curfew. It does seem like the perfect storm is gathering.

ApiRat and the Army have the control to enforce the current curfew, and most likely the 24 hr curfew next.  Just imagine the Army roving all over bigger cities ....

What Possible results do they expect a 24 hour lock down will accomplish?

Most countries did at first a 1 month lock down and even after that full month there was hardly any difference in their daily deaths and daily folks numbers hospitalized !

So why announce this now?  What is the real purpose behind this statement?

Makes absolutely zero sense unless there is another agenda they aren't telling us about.

Longer lock down, 1st spoon feed us with 24 hours, then a week, then a month, already happened, remember something a little while ago, someone said something till 14th April, now 30th April, sure it wasn't a lock down, but a closing down of, same same, similar, stock up time, again.

I guess you will be still allowed to go out for necessary things like supermarkets (food), doctors, essential work etc, maybe also you get 1hr per day to go out.

The number of cases has been rising by an average of over 100 a day, and even though the government does not want to impose more stringent measures, a 24-hour curfew was still an option if the situation got worse, she said.

This is what happens when you hide the numbers from the start, why, so that you can start releasing them at a later date, blaming the people that your measures are not working because of the people, thus enforcing a lock down, what a better way to control the masses, but what is the real purposes, perhaps to finally get the numbers reduced to a safer level and then come out on top of this as the hero's, who really stuffed up in the beginning.

Hmmm, sounds to me this lock down is gonna be around for a long while to come.

Under control 110% just goes to show they had no idea.

Megalomania is starting to overtake rational thinking

Maybe, but it isn't a threat, Apirat will be needing that (with appropriate practical exceptions) if what is happening is what I think is happening.

All this is going to do is start an even bigger amount of stock pilling shoppers and then we will have shortages of the basic items needed for everyday life.

Thailand you are doing a better job then most countries around us. So really think about it outside of the box and make better decisions that help all of Thai People and the Foreigners that have been staying here for a long time and those who have been trapped here. We all need help and it is needed now. Maybe we will talk about it next week, is not good enough.

I suspect if there is a curfew we will eventually be on overstay and fined.

Ok guys just think.

1 You allow ever one 2 hours a day to shop. Then you get massive ques spreading it further at supermarkets lines waiting to get in.  Remember Thai way of thinking me first, fighting and q  jumping.

2 Delivering food via army or others  who does the checking on the cleanliness of the produce and packaging to the people?

3 Do they have enough space in the jails for the people that break the rules or are they all standing out side the courts to pay the fines and spreading the virus.

4 What to do when the <deleted> really hits the fan and the people take to the streets looking for food or money or a white face.

Impossible to enforce, at least they should stick to the possible. instead of making this kind of idiotic pronouncement.

They will definitely enforce it on foreigners while blaming them for the inevitable increases in cases
