A nice storm just outside Ban Dung last night. Not too much wind but a reasonable amount of rain.

Yes I love a good storm.Does wonders for my soul.

We had one 10 days ago that damaged the roof and brought a ceiling down. Still trying to fix some of the electrics. Having to completely redecorate one room. I think I prefer the weather where I come from - boring but non-violent.

good, good, good, bring it on.

It did last night around 9pm, out here in rural Khampaeng Phet. First we had about 10 minutes of high winds, followed by thunder and heavy rain for about 10 minutes  and then it went away.

Oddly enough the weather centre in KPP showed no rain in the 24 hours ending at 7am this morning.

Weather forecasters are like politicians all talk and no truth.

True, at least they are more honest than politicians, they give you a percentage to work with - 30% chance of rain, or 70% chance of no rain, take the information and work it however you wish?

Politicians just outright Lie!

Rain is badly needed in Chiang Mai to help alleviate the poisonous air we have to breathe on a daily basis.

Then you will get a downpour of sulphuric acid or some other nasty.    lol
