According to the forecast, the storms are likely due to the convergence of southerly and south-easterly winds, driven by the cold front over Vietnam, the Lao PDR and the South China Sea and the increasingly warm weather over northern Thailand. We had one 10 days ago that damaged the roof and brought a ceiling down. Still trying to fix some of the electrics. Having to completely redecorate one room. First we had about 10 minutes of high winds, followed by thunder and heavy rain for about 10 minutes and then it went away.
