Daily News published a report that Hua Hin Hospital has come up with their own Covid-19 testing lab and that it was quick and cheap and available to all.

The hospital's Facebook page advertised the test that can be accessed from the 7th of April at a cost of between 3,500 and 5,000 baht.

The price range was not explained but the hospital said that insurance could be used to cover the cost. It was available from 8 am to 8 pm and people could call the hospital to make an appointment. Results would be available within three hours.

Director Dr Niran Jantrakoon said that those running temperatures of 37.5 and in high risk categories would not have to pay.

The lab would be helpful for those who wanted to know their status even without symptoms.

He said that being proactive in testing and finding out if people were infected before they developed symptoms was vital in helping to contain the disease and indicated that more foreigners from risky countries were being tested by using chest x-rays.

But staying home and isolating was important, said the director.

Ivermectin Kills worms in Animals, and lice on your head, so it can not be to bad.  Will get those worms you ingest in the village when eating the fish from the klongs and the snails....might make some overweight people skinny once those parasitic worms leave your tush....

nice one - good find!

Proven to kill in a lab test tube but not in people as yet.

Needs to go through human testing so looking at 1-2 years.

I hear testing is 8,000 to 18,000 baht elsewhere in Thailand. Likely the 5,000 baht price is for foreigners.
