Thai Red Cross seeks plasma donations from cured Covid-19 patients

The Thai Red Cross Society is inviting patients who have recovered from Covid-19 to donate plasma, which can inhibit severe pneumonia and will be helpful in treating patients with severe Covid-19.

PATTAYA:--In an attempt to reduce queues, Chonburi Immigration at Jomtien has now canopied the whole car park with extra seating and facilities. A few services, such as the 90 day report for long-stay farang and the collection of passports for retirees, can be completed without the need physically to enter the building. It is now compulsory to wear a mask at all times whilst on the premises and temperature checks are taken at the door.

First night of Pattaya curfew, lights shine bright in condos and homes – streets deserted

PATTAYA:--Roads that usually teem with traffic were deserted after the nationwide curfew began at 10 p.m. Most drivers rushed back to their homes to avoid being caught and possibly arrested or hit with large fines.

Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard (Pattaya) funds meals for the needy during coronavirus crisis

PATTAYA:--Rotary Assistant Governor and Past President Rodney James Charman (left) of the Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard Pattaya met with President-Elect Peter Marsh (right) of the Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya together with Mrs. Yupin (centre), proprietor of Yupins Restaurant to donate 12,000 Baht on behalf of Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard. The money will help to provide 400 meals for people in the community who have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus and the government lockdown.
