He said that 152 out of 158 people must report themselves. “Those who live in Bangkok, Chonburi, or Nonthaburi can report to the Emergency Operation Centre of Suvarnabhumi Airport, while those living in other provinces can inform officials of Damrongdhama Centre of each province,” he added. The spokesman said six people had on their own reported themselves and they were presently in quarantine at the places provided by the government in Bangkok. “This is an urgent matter. What about the officials that failed to act, should the disobedient travelers be arrested, don't the authorities have extraordinary powers at the moment. I think so as it was reported that 3 of them were running a fever before they were running away.. Press coverage has been poor, both English language newspapers were indicating that they all got on buses after a 4 hour discussion. Obviously, this is now evidently not true. Totally agree, the only people allowed to enter Australia are citizens or those with permanent residency. Those people are met at the airport by Border Security/ Police/ Army and take to a hotel where they have to remain in the room for 14 days. Seems the uniforms in Oz didn’t,t do the job with the Ruby Princess,or rather those in charge and not in uniform! 3 more deaths reported just now in NSW believed to be from that ship.
