BEWARE of UV, spray tunnels in fighting Covid-19





The World Health Organisation is advising people not to avail of any Covid-19 "sterilising services" using UV or spray tunnels as these will harm the skin and could even cause cancer, Food and Drug Administration deputy secretary-general Supattra Boonserm revealed.

No plan for 24-hour curfew yet

Government spokeswoman Narumon Pinyosinwat dismissed rumours that a 24-hour curfew will be declared this week, saying on Monday (April 6) that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has yet to make a decision on the matter.

Overseas Thais warned to contact embassy before flying home

PM urges stringent punishment of forest arsonists

MADRID (Reuters) - Spain said on Monday it plans to widen coronavirus testing to include people without symptoms as a first step towards slowly easing a lockdown in the nation with the second highest death toll from the global pandemic.
