The Covid-19 pandemic continues to spread throughout Bangkok, and places with slum communities are particularly at risk, especially vulnerable groups like children, youth, the elderly, people with disability, and the homeless, the Minister of Social Development and Human Security, Juti Krairerk, said. “We invite the homeless and the unemployed to stay at our accommodation. We have food, rooms, bathroom, and a team to prevent Covid-19. Contact hotline 1300. There will be rooms for people nationwide," said the minister. Makes hamnitarian sense to give a helping hand to people who don't have any other resources. Must be hard to imagine for grumpy farang who have nothing better to do but to bitch about Thailand on TV.
