Ombra
I hope that that includes short-term rentals in condos. 1
Popular Post spidermike007
No notice. Just leave. Gone baby gone. When this thing is over, safe to expect tourism to never recover from this. It is the inconsistency of the policies and lack of notice that is the real issue here. Extremely disrespectful behavior toward foreigners. 4

Check-out and go where? Thais can possibly travel back home. Foreign guests are stuck here with no real flight options to leave, where are they supposed to stay? 1

The governor don't have to think about that, it is not his problem, can you imagine?
otherstuff1957
When they don't really know what to do, bureaucrats tend to feel that they have to do something. So they do something random that doesn't really achieve anything and may, in fact, be counterproductive, but gives people the illusion that they 'are doing something about the situation'. You normally see this sort of thinking from the Immigration Police, but it looks as though the provincial governors are getting into the act!
RobbyXNorway
They could probably relocate to a long-term (1+ month) stay condo.
