..Ive not seen it mentioned, ordered, requested anywhere at all...that disposable gloves offer a main barrier...cheap as chips and can avoid all hand to face contact...you go somewhere in your car from your home..you get out the car, put on your gloves..go about your business; return to your car, gloves off and dispose..sanitize your hands; get in your car...well that's what i do, plus on my bike.

This is how quickly germs can spread even if you’re wearing gloves

So, if I go swim on the beach I have to wear a mask? 🙂 I wonder how many people end up in a mental hospital during the quarantine

Well you must be the 1st into the mental hospital if you swim on a beach. Most people swim in the ocean!

when money talks, you are probably not far off. There is a very large (and growing) group of conspiracy theorists that are convinced the Chinese planned all of this.

There are also conspiracy groups that think it's the 5G network that is causing the covid virus.
One group was even claiming that the 8:00 "clap" in the UK was actually secretly a cover to hide the noise when they test the 5G network there.

And the Chinese themselves have even given up on the idea that this originated from eating animals sold at a market. Instead, state run media (and apparently some senior Chinese officials) have been promoting the idea that the virus was developed by the US army and planted in Wuhan by them. (According to one source, the idea originated in Russia and was picked up and spread by the Chinese).
https://globalnews.ca/news/6793733/coronavirus-conspiracy-theories-russia-china/https://globalnews.ca/news/6793733/coronavirus-conspiracy-theories-russia-china/

One thing that isn't a conspiracy theory is that last July, the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) escorted a Chinese scientist out of the Class 4 Bio Research lab she (and her students) had been working in. Apparently she was being investigated for "policy breaches" but they wouldn't go into detail about what those breaches were.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/chinese-researcher-escorted-from-infectious-disease-lab-amid-rcmp-investigation-1.5211567

That same scientist apparently also worked at the Level 4 lab the Chinese built - in Wuhan. Just a coincidence of course, not a conspiracy.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/national-microbiology-lab-scientist-investigation-china-1.5307424

And seriously, do you think the Chinese would plan this, then infect their own people and just "hope" that it spread around the world ? Even if they weren't too concerned about their own people the risk of it spreading throughout China unchecked would have been too great.
Much better ways to spread a virus than that.

Around 6 pm, I entered Pattaya from the darkside through the Chai Yaporn check point on my motorbike. So much traffic and people, it’s like judgement's day. Separate lanes for cars and motorbikes. They checked my temperature but in the chaos did not ask for my documents (I had my passport and condo rent agreement ready). The had a large tent on the side with officers to refer to plead your case if one is declined passage through. Can't imagine the chaos when it gets darker at night.

The traffic is few kilometers long and moves very slowly. Was not easy on a motorbike with the benefit of zigzagging through cars. If you in a car, good luck.

It wasn't Soi Chaiyaporn, it is in South Pattaya. Would you mind telling us the actual checkpoint you went through, for our future reference, and so people can try and avoid it. Maybe a bit more description (example: came up SSCC to the railway road, and police were on the left, right. on the tracks etc).

Sorry to ask, but all info at this point (ie: first day) is important.

Thank you if can .

Did you go through the exiting checkpoint? Do you know what they are asking for if you want to leave Pattaya?

Brilliant Sherlock.

Let's create a virus that not only could wipe out are own country, but one that spreads to all our customer's countries so their economies are driven into the ground and then they will not be able to buy any goods we make.

You aren't one of the people in the UK climbing 5G masts to set them on fire are you?

Apparently, the internet says that these are spreading coronavirus and of course the chinese created this as well.

Easy Tiger..

I am no fan of conspiracy, just sharing what i can see and read on the world web. One Indian news channel was very critical, highlighting how was it possible Beijing and Shanghai (populations both over 2 Billion we are told) were hardly affected and how all the chinese based factories have managed to fire back to full operation so quickly....

Makes you think but like you i believe in facts, so lets just stick with what we know and move forward to act the right way to defeat it, which we all hope is soon.

Any body living close enough to the barriers or checkpoints to see if anything is being removed?

2BN in Shanghai and Beijing yet only 1.4bn only in China?

I always thought the Indians could hold their own on University Challenge too. 😅

I live near the railway road

i can not go outside at the moment because of the curfew

but from my balcony i can see just now that the concrete barriers are still in place

at least at the entry of the Boonsampam road just after the railway

when you come from the darkside
