Elderly monk caught stealing donated money

Recommended Posts

Goodness sake, surely they could have sheltered him until he was able to return home after restrictions lifted.

Seventy years old and still doesn't get what the Buddha advocated! Take only what is given!

It was given, it was donations😷😛

Now, my response would have been: "Yes, and he took only what was given."

How did the message possibly get lost I wonder..  Certainly wouldn't be environmental factors..

Well well, a monk helping himself to temple money.

All monks are supposed to be 100% honest:cheesy::cheesy:

Maybe he was just taking the money to help him buy a Louie Vitton bag, and a pair of Ray Bans.🤭

So, why not personally and publicly ridicule/vilify the poor old man. Yes he has done the wrong thing and should be excommunicated but not in the way that has been done for only approximately $100 Australian.

Where is the karma in the above approach😳🤷‍♂️🙏🇹🇭

I don't think this had anything to do with restrictions, he was given shelter but chose to steal the money to get back where he came from.

Wrong choice.

sadly KARMA is a myth...  I know quite a few that would get hit by karma, but sadly they go offer a brown envelope for their soul, while not even caring for their own blood relative
