We are all destined to be 20 stone alcoholics by the time this is done with. (Note for non-UK: 1 stone=14 lbs)

Immanuel Kant was a real ****ant
who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
who could think you under the table.

David Hume could out-consume
Wilhelm Freidrich Hegel.

And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.

There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'bout the raising of the wrist,
Socrates, himself, was permanently ****ed.

John Stuart Mill, of his own free will

On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.

Plato, they say, could stick it away,
Half a crate of whiskey every day.

Aristotle, Aristotle was a bu**er for the bottle,
And Hobbes was fond of his dram.

And Rene Descartes was a drunken fa**,
"I drink, therefore I am."

Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed,
A lovely little thinker, but a bu**er when he's pi**ed.

A drinking song for all you thinkers out there with love from the Monty Python Lads.

Be patient.

You reading your little red book again?

Are all their factories in Bangkok?

Dunno, when I look at the markings on the cases I buy they all seem to come from that area.

From the PR Pattaya Facebook Page (Public Relations Pattaya):

‼️ order of contagious committee, Chonburi Province, vol. 16

📢 order to close the liquor shop until April 30, 2563 (still sell other products)

❌ do not sell, pay, give away, exchange drinks with all types of alcohol ingredients until April 30, 2563

❌ do not move, transport, drink with all types of alcohol ingredients until April 30, 2563

❌ do not drink alcoholic beverages outside the house until 30 April 2563

If you can read Thai (or know someone who can) here is the Order:

Hey ! If it works !

I eat Som Tam from the local cart guy and less than 4 hours later I am "losing weight" every time !

Unfortunately it never seems to balance out and I keep gaining weight instead of losing it.

OF COURSE, there will be a beer ban. FIrst rule of Thai society is that you must destroy the economy in response to any perceived crisis. You then blame it on any available foreigner.
