Anybody can confirm delivery address or even bring food there 2 or 3 times a week ? Usually people do not finish their dishes, so why not giving the left over to dogs at temple and shelters ? Sorry, can we move this message to Pattaya forum as it seems to concern Pattaya mostly ? thank you. You are a good person for doing this. But unfortunately it is not only Pattaya. All over Thailand temples and animal sanctuaries are facing this trouble. Many animal rescue centers have a nice income from tourists coming to vist them and donating something and from things like coffeeshops where you can meet some cats or dogs to play with or adopt. That income has now all but run dry, making their future uncertain. A few of the animal shelters affected are: Chiang Mai https://www.facebook.com/AdoptMeowChiangmai/ https://www.facebook.com/lannadogwelfare Bangkok https://www.facebook.com/pawsbangkok/ Koh Samui https://www.facebook.com/DCRS-Dog-and-Cat-Rescue-Samui-Foundation-136646143015403/ http://www.samuidog.org/ Koh Lanta https://lantaanimalwelfare.com/ And many more all over Thailand.

Popular Post Preacher
Let's not forget that there are still many animals and anmial shelters out there suffering as much as humans under the corona crissis. Your help is needed more than ever. Even if you hate stray cats and dogs, the best and humane way to get rid of them is donating them being neutered so they won't have any off spring.

Preacher
There are many more in Thailand, but a lot of them have Thai language websites only. Most of the places will provide a free healthcheck for peopel who don't have money to take care of their sick animal. I understand there are a lot of puppies and kittens being abondend now as people can't afford to keep them.

Preacher
PAWS bangkok is desperate for donations to help cats that are sick. Seems they don't have any finacial reserves and facing high bills for their care.
Preacher
Now also on the Thai news about a temple in Bangkok where people dump their pets because of the COVID-crisis. It is a nation wide problem, only getting bigger as resources dry out. Please consider donating to charities, with money or goods. Simple things like old towels and sheets are also welcome for cleaning and sleeping on.

Preacher
Situation is slightly improving for some organisations, but the need is still great. Welknown Pawsbangkok has reopend its adoptable cat cafe, where you can meet kittens that are up for adoption. See their facebook page for more info: https://www.facebook.com/pawsbangkok/ And lovely adopt meow in Chiang Mai has renewed its website and reopened its cat hotel. They are also looking for volunteers to help with socialising kittens in their care. More info: https://adoptmeowchiangmai.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/AdoptMeowChiangmai/ As said, the need is still great. For humans and animals.

Preacher
Abondend animals still aboundend and about at temples and rescue orgnisations. Remember: adopt, don't shop and have a hearth and donate. Eevn if it is for spaying so there will be less strays.
suhoaswhas
I wonder how some organizations can pay so many staff, as the one at Sriracha, where do they get all the money ?
Preacher
Money comes from donations and projects/activities for tourists. In general they don't have a large staff, although some organisations work with a veterinarian and a few caretakers. A lot of work is done by volunteers, some are tourists helping out for a few weeks. Reason why many organisations are hit hard. No donations, no volunteers and no tourists who give donations.
Preacher
With the new Covid surge, things are getting worse for humans and animals. The need is greater than ever for many charities like Soi Dog, Paws Bangkok, Adopt Meow Chiang Mai, Lanta Animal Welfare and many others to help stray animals. Donations of any size or any form are more than welcome by these organisations.
