accel
My one year extension of stay based on employment will be over on April 30 and I will not be returning to my job. Do the “automatic” extensions due to covid-19 apply to people on extensions? (Say it were to roll over to May 30) My employer isn’t going to cancel my work permit until April 30 (at this point maybe not until school starts again, I’m not sure). When my work permit is cancelled, isn’t my extension of stay invalidated? Will they still issue extensions with the embassy letter now that they’ve made this announcement? Thanks

They could ask that about your work permit and or a termination letter from your employer to cancel your current extension.
