Selling alcohol is going to be prohibited from the 12th until the 19th of April. Songkran has also been "cancelled". Everybody knows that Songkran, as a public holiday, was cancelled, but this didn't mean people can't have some fun. Activities have NOT been officially banned. The local government has now made the ban on Songkran related activities official. No "fun" allowed.
