rooster59
Krabi to offer daily allowance to Covid-19 patients who reported their symptoms to officials By THE NATION Krabi province will provide daily subsidy of Bt500 to all patients who tested positive for Covid-19 and are in hospital care until they recover and are discharged. The allowance is only for those who had contacted responsible officials immediately after they had shown symptoms similar to Covid-19 pneumonia. “The order aims to reduce the number of infections in Krabi province, which has risen to 16 patients as of April 10,” provincial Governor Lt-Colonel Kitibadee Prawit said on Friday (April 10). “The province will provide patient support of Bt500 a day to all Covid-19 patients who, instead of hiding their symptoms, had contacted communicable disease control officers (district chiefs, village headmen, public health officials) immediately after showing symptoms and remain in hospital until they recover.” The order will be effective from April 10 to 30. Earlier this week Koh Lanta in Krabi was shut down after four cases of Covid-19 were found on the island, which has now been labelled a hotspot for potential infection. Maybe they are just hoping the Virus will fly over the top of Thailand, and only a few people will get sick. Well the reality shows that nobody, and I mean nobody is safe from this Virus, and to take such an irresponsible attitude will only cause much pain and misery in the Country. Not just for the population, but for the Government going forward into the future after this Global Emergency
