Popular Post webfact
ATM attack: Don't blame me, says Thai man, I couldn't get any "Lao Khao" Picture: Daily News A construction worker and serial drunkard told police that he had no intention of really stealing money from a Rayong bank ATM. He was just frustrated that he couldn't get any Lao Khao (white spirits) because all the shops had shut due to the booze ban. Kittipong, 30, was found sleeping at home "sabai sabai" after the phu yai ban went to the police with information. Earlier a gas canister had been set alight near the rear door of the Ban Khai ATM belonging to the BAAC. A Fino motorcycle was also left there. Nothing was taken. Picture: Daily News Kittipong told Lt-Col Somchart Sangngern of the Nong Krap police that he had gone out on his motorcycle looking for booze. But there was none. So he decided to take out his frustrations on an ATM. He went to get the canister, set it ablaze and waited. But there was no explosion. Picture: Daily News Tired of waiting he decided to go home. Asked why he didn't take his motorcycle or the canister with him he said: "I forgot". Kittipong told the police not to judge mad people, and not to have a go at folk just because they enjoy a drink. If one of the two had to be banned it should have been alcohol given its effects. Just makes no sense. 3 3

I aint no weed demonizer either. I used to smoke it regularly myself. I stopped because the paranoia got too much for me. Now I just have a couple of drinks of an afternoon and I feel great! If i were to use it here i might get paranoia for fear of getting caught. If legal no reason to get it. Then again a small percentage would probably get it. Its a lot healthier then a couple of drinks (depending on volume of drink and amount of weed of course and how its used vaping is healthiest) 1

Its a lot healthier then a couple of drinks (depending on volume of drink and amount of weed of course and how its used vaping is healthiest) I think a zingy sativa could make certain people paranoid but I think you are probably right about fear of getting caught being mostly the cause. I don't think I ever smoked too much weed. I mean to the point where I didn't know what was going on or start acting like a complete bell-end. For me atleast, acting like a bell-end is quite easy to reach with alcohol. Bangel72
Copied the following from a drug foundation site, likely to be a few more incidents maybe deaths as a result of the ban, much less than alcohol causes but still none the less potentially harmful without pairing the ban with actual support for those suffering from alcoholism. “Addiction involves a hijacking of the survival mechanisms in the brain. People with drug addiction continue to use the drug as if their lives depend upon it. Body and brain get their wires crossed, so people in withdrawal can certainly feel like they are going to die if they don’t get enough of the drug they ‘need’.” Withdrawal in someone with alcohol addiction itself is not life threatening, but there are complications that can lead to death, such as convulsions, where the person has an epileptic seizure, and cardiac arrhythmias, where the heart goes into a spasm and doesn’t pump blood efficiently. Other common symptoms include nausea, sweating and dysphoria (anxiety and restlessness). And we’ve all heard of the delirium tremens or ‘the DTs’. Having the DTs is like being in a constant state of confusion and hyperactivity, and symptoms includes disorientation, hallucinations and vomiting. If the pink elephants aren’t bad enough, an alcoholic experiencing the DTs is susceptible to grand mal seizures, heart attacks and stroke."
