samtam
Is the Re-entry permit office at Suvarnabhumi still open? Where is it located in the airport? Anyone been there recently, who could advise on time it takes to obtain?
ubonjoe
I would assume the re-entry permit desk is still open. It is located in immigration zone 2 after security and just before the immigration desks for departure.

You need to have a boarding pass for the security check, so yes. Takes just a few minutes and you don't need a photo. samtam
Thanks. I'm unlikely to need one in the immediate future, given travel restrictions, and even after they're lifted, my intention to travel is very uncertain in the current state of the pandemic, but I always like to be prepared, should things go tits up, which isn't too far fetched. If you needed to exit quickly, the process for reentry permit at Bangkok airports is silky smooth. Wouldn't hurt to download form and have all ready to go. Photo, required photocopies etc. Alternative BKK airport can do all that for you 200baht.

If you depart through Priority Lane would you miss it?

If you leave through the Priority Lane you can tell them you need a re-entry permit they will escort you to the re-entry permit desk.
