Hi all,


Does anyone have any idea how to work out the real value per Rai for farm / plantation land in Thailand?


My girlfriend has a valuation by the local land office but i understand that this is normally less thatn the true market value, although its not clear by how much.


Does anyone know if public records are available showing prices that land has sold for, similar to our land registry?


I have searched on the various proerty sale websites but there is such variation on prices with little reasoning why.


As my girlfriend tells me they don't really use estate agents, they just guess the land value and ask what they like? Makes no sense to me.


Any help would be much appreciated.
