Obviously they don't feel women are as strong, smart and independent as feminism would like us to believe. Of course, the virtue signalling will be in overdrive. You can bet your last Baht that in private they'll be worse than any of us ever will be. Despite the vigorous moral grunting. 1

But if in this day and age, you let someone take photos and/or video of you in compromising positions, you are quite simply a fool unless you yourself have complete control of the digital files in question. Easy to say for us folk who have been through the wars and survived with our own many adolescent indiscretions ... OR! maybe there are so many young and naive that simply deal with raging hormones at an age just too young to be as aware as we so much more "adult" and "knowledgeable" who already went through that same situation, than them. Stop and remember waaaay back then, and try to not be so judgemental. Edited May 6, 2020 by Dap

To say a photo like that is just as serious as actual sexual assault is the most stupid statement I've seen on here for quite some time. It's the publishing of the photo that is serious. The photos are almost invariably taken on the understanding that it's between two consenting adults. Consent of one of the adults is not generally present when it's published. As as for millions of dollars and the timing, it's just a matter of enacting a law. It would involve a working party but seems a no brainer. Hope you don't have daughters who unwittingly end up on the net for the sexual gratification of strangers.

It's not a virus. How is a photo of a naked woman ever serious? This is 2020, not 1812. Just a matter of enacting a law? Lawmakers have considerably more important matters to attend to that actual matter to society at large, as opposed to a small number of ladies who've had pictures of themselves taken during sexual activity. It would divert much taxpayer money away on some wholly unimportant nonsense. This is a non-issue. I have daughters, and if ever pics went up I wouldn't consider it serious in the slightest, except of course that my daugthers would never be so stupid to let some bloke take sex pictures of themselves and then complain when it goes on the internet. One has to question the sanity of anyone that allows intimate photos of themselves to be accessible to another these days, and in many cases it's the person being embarrassed that sent the photos over the internet, though they thought they were not public. Once something is on the net it's just a matter of time before someone posts them in public. We are constantly being told how tech savvy young people are, but I have to doubt that.
