webfact Posted May 7, 2020 Share Posted May 7, 2020 Elephants increasingly bold after Kaeng Krachan park closed The chief of the Kaeng Krachan national Park commented after 16 wild elephants came out of the jungle looking for food in the area of the Pa La-U waterfall. The pachyderms have been increasingly bold since the park was shut due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mana Phermphoon said his staff was working on it after locals feared they might be in danger. On the plus side the shutdown of the park has meant that the park is recovering from the effects of tourism at a fast rate.
